Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)/Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) Treatments

A blood sample is taken from the client and then spun in a centrifuge to separate out the other components to produce plasma with a high concentration of platelets. The Platelet Rich Plasma is then injected via subcutaneous injection into the area to be treated. The injection of the platelets increases the concentration of specific bioproteins or hormones in the target area in order to stimulate the body’s regeneration processes.

Results are normally seen around 3 weeks and results generally last up to 18 months.
